Hi Kenneth,

I am attaching my newest photo of F.splendens which is blooming heavily in a cool greenhouse in March.

Fuchsia splendens is native to Central America, from Mexico to Costa Rica, where it most commonly grows in cloud forests and moist oak-pine forests at elevations of 2,000 to 3,400 meters. It flowers throughout the year. Interesting features are the rose to bright red tube with green sepals, and the compression or flattening of the floral tube near the base.
