No, I don't think your "stranger" is an Archie Owens. Archie is a much fuller flower, more a double than a semi-double. It's really DEEP PINK (carnation pink like the Crayola crayons) sepals and pink-to-white corollas. And, while the anthers are spread out, they are not much longer than the flower itself. Wonder if there is some way I can ship a blossom to you when it blooms? I'll try to think of a way to do that. Then you would be able to compare for yourself.

Besides the much longer anthers, the flower of your stranger looks too white.
