Display

Display - Smith 1881 GB B S pinkred pink (syn. Frau Ida Noach, as far as I know - Kenneth)
Pictures of my plant 1999

'Display' was the X-cutting in August 2000 / 'Display var x-stickling i augusti 2000

See this gorgeous standard I saw in Denmark some years ago..
In Germany and Holland and even here in Sweden, Display is cultivated and sold under the name Frau Ida Noach but it's said to be the same cultivar.
The features of Display are the flaring shape of the corolla, the startling cerise colouring and the ability to form a dense bush without pruning and pinching.
The flowers are very profuse and this is cultivar that has to be presented live to be fully 'understood'.
No picture or no description can seduce you the way Dispaly does live. Enough?
A good old one...

(Compair this to some other red/purple fuchsias /Jämför med några andra röd/blå fuchsior)
