One of the more popular fuchsias among fuchsiasts. Listed in several "Top Ten Lists".
No wonder. Checkerboard has a most unusual colouring, with red tube, abrubtly turning into white sepals, and the corolla is deep red.
Checkerboard is a fast and sturdy grower but needs pinching, not to become straggly. Flowers continuosly. Very suitable for larger bushes or standards.
