Hi Kenneth,
I was wondering if you would add the two books I wrote on to your fuchsia
books site. The proceeds from both books, after expenses, go completely
to support the South Coast Fuchsia Garden.
1) The books are: "A Fuchsia Primer",
written by Ida Drapkin (The Fuchsia Lady), revised January 1996, 28 pages.
It is a "how to" book for the beginning fuchsia grower with tips
also for the experienced grower. There are a number of pen and ink drawings.
Price in U.S. dollars is $5.00 plus mailing.
2) The other book is, "Index to Fuchsia Pictures
in Color", third edition, compiled by Ida F. Drapkin, November
1996. There are 88 pages. It lists, by flower, in which books and bulletins
(over 350) one can find colored pictures of the particular fuchsia. Price
in U.S. dollars is $8.00 plus mailing. People interested in either of the

I read in your correspondence how Chuck Hassett's species splendens
was blooming in his greenhouse. Ours is blooming outside at the South Coast
Botanic Garden. Ha ha!!
